Anderson Cooper: Hurricane Isaac Reminded Me How Lucky I Am
Anderson Cooper broadcasts live across the globe with Hurricane Isaac updates on Monday (August 27) from New Orleans, La.
The 45-year-old news anchor stayed in the area for the storm, and witnessed first hand some of the damage it caused.
“After 8 hours in the storm I am now dry and warm and reminded of how lucky I am. So many around the world have no safe shelter, no warm bed” Anderson tweeted.
The storm has left thousands in flooded conditions without power, and heavy rains and wind still continue to barrage the targeted areas.
Our thoughts go out to those affected by Hurricane Isaac.
