After the incredible reaction to Anderson's first show with his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, in which she detailed her amazing story of survival, Anderson spends the hour with his mom discussing surviving loss and rebuilding a life in the aftermath.
Gloria, who lost her son Carter to suicide, and husband Wyatt to a heart attack, will share with the audience how she has coped with grief over the years.
Gloria speaks with several guests, including a mother and her two children who lost their father, as well as a family who lost their son. All will share their own personal stories of loss and survival.

Anderson speaks with English teacher and Captain of the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleading squad Sarah Jones, who was recently awarded a judgment of $11 million after suing a website called TheDirty.com for defamation of character. The site falsely claimed Sarah was dating multiple Bengals players, had a cheating boyfriend who infected her with two STDs, and was sleeping with various men at her school -- in her classroom, at the football field and the basketball court. Sarah discusses with Anderson the embarrassment and public scrutiny she faced after being slandered online.
Anderson also speaks with a family embarrassed by the inappropriate way their 49-year-old mother, who is also a grandmother, dresses and behaves. The family confronts their mother and tells her it’s time for her to grow up and act her age!

Anderson also speaks with Professor George Holden, whose recent study on parents yelling at their children actually caught parents on audiotape, spanking their children in real time over petty misbehaviors.
