Alta Rope Tow Wedgie goes viral on CNN's Anderson Cooper

One man's humiliation is another internet's viral video. The Alta Rope Tow Wedgie, a video of an unfortunate soul who did not quite understand the proper way to hitch a transfer tow at Alta, was on last night's CNN Anderson Cooper 360.

It's the second television show I've seen the now legendary clip. Either I watch too much TV, or it's going massively viral. Note to TV producers: the lift is a transfer lift, their are indeed chairlifts at Alta. Both TV shows wondered aloud why there were no chairlifts for the unfortunate soul to ride.

It's Alta! Legendary Alta! The transfer lift to get you from one base are to another at one of the all time great ski areas. Alta, the birthplace of the O.G. American powder skier filled with chairlifts! Come on TV!
