The folks over at Anderson Cooper's talk show, "Anderson," have retooled their press releases into a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing format, including classy new fonts (some in color) and a photo of Cooper. And why not? "Anderson," which moves from Ch. 11 to Ch. 5 this fall, is going great-guns in the ratings department -- and performed particularly strongly for the week ending April 15 in the most recent syndicated data (released yesterday).
For the week, "Anderson" averaged 1.9 million viewers, up 17 percent from the previous week. It also showed the biggest gain of any show in syndication and was the top-rated freshman show for the 31st week. They're obviously doing something right over there.
Anderson Cooper, pointing to his favorite newspaper, has seen his daily talk show, "Anderson," increase its audience significantly during its freshman season.
