Jose Andres – 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper!
On Sunday 2nd May, 2010 – The multitalented Spanish chef Jose Andres, famous for introducing Americans with the small plate dining concept and the owner of many Jose Andres Restaurants, appeared on 60 Minutes for an interview with Anderson Cooper.
The author of the first cookbook on ‘Tapas’ and Spanish Cuisine currently resides outside of Washington, D.C. in Bethesda, Maryland with his three daughters named Lucia, Carlota and Ines along with his wife Patricia.
Jose Ramon Andres Puerta, also known as Jose Andres, is the owner of several renowned Jose Andres Restaurants. All of his restaurants, including my personal favorite the “Jaleo” where you can get the best Spanish food with a bit American touch including ‘The Traditional Spanish Tapas’, are located in Washington D.C.
Anderson Cooper, the host of the show, came up with an interesting interview on the show. He visited one of the Jose Andres Restaurants and seemed quite happy after having a Spanish meal prepared in the restaurant especially for him. Last night Jose Andres, the celebrity chef also revealed that he is willing to re-create two more restaurants for the multiethnic culture of Las Vegas in the month of December. The new restaurants will be named after fusion Jose Andre’s restaurants, where they feature bread makers and fresh water chestnuts.
According to ‘LA Times’ ratings the food served in these restaurants are a sure match for four stars restaurant.
