Piers Morgan
.. and Lewis Black report.
"That's a psychotic thing to say"
Comedian Lewis Black joined Piers Morgan last night to talk politics and did what he does best – he got angry.
He sounded off on several Republican candidates and questioned the rationality of the people supporting them. Black said of Donald Trump, “I realize as a comic he is truly a spectacular candidate, but it works really best on a fictional level. I don’t know why initially when he said he was running that someone, an adult, didn’t go up to him and say, ‘No, you can’t run.’”
Black called Herman Cain “stellar” but said he was not very presidential. “It makes you wonder where we’re at, where someone who truly has no credentials – none, none! – to be President of the United States to get a run that was that long,” he said.
When Piers asked Black if he thought Newt Gingrich was “zany,” Black said no. “Saying that the Palestinian people aren’t really a people – that’s not a zany thing to say,” said Black. “That’s a psychotic thing to say in the midst of all of the politics we live through on a daily basis.”
