Anderson Cooper Takes Ed Schultz To The Woodshed For His GQ Conspiracy

Anderson Cooper ripped into Ed Schultz on his Friday show, putting his MSNBC rival on his Ridiculist for some comments Schultz made about him earlier in the week.
After being named one of GQ's "Least Influential People Alive," Schultz took to his radio show on Thursday and denounced the choice. He also said, "I know that Anderson Cooper floats around in that GQ crowd. I don't know whether he's behind it or their publicists at CNN, but let me just say I'm kicking his ass."
Not surprisingly, Cooper took umbrage at this contention. After saying he thinks cable news feuds are "stupid," he proceeded to embark on a monologue studded with casual viciousness about Schultz. He said he didn't even know who Schultz was, except that "I'm told he yells a lot, and I know he works at MSNBC and I know he's moved around in various time slots." He also replayed the comments Schultz made about Laura Ingraham that got him suspended, saying, "Mr. Schultz has a pretty thin skin for someone who goes around calling people sluts."
Then he played the "kicking his ass comments," and reacted by spluttering, "What? Here I am just living my life doing my thing, and this person I don't even know says this." He also mocked the notion that he has any sway over GQ's editorial decisions.
