A Tale of Two Interviews: Condoleezza Rice Edition

Following the news that Osama Bin Laden was killed, a number of top Bush Administration deputies have been making the TV news rounds. One of those people was former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Rice appeared on both MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” and CNN’s “AC360,” with Anderson Cooper.
Cooper’s interview with Rice touched upon many of the most pertinent topics, including the Bush administration’s knowledge of Bin Laden’s whereabouts. He also touched upon criticism’s of the administration:
On the other side of the coin, there was O’Donnell’s interview, which he admitted weas “tense” at times, and which caused Rice to accuse him of inserting his own commentary into the questions:
