Snakepit Ball draws celebs, fans

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Fans and cameras filled the area in front of the Indiana Roof Ballroom Saturday night for the annual Snakepit Ball.

Celebrities arrived on a red carpet to cheering fans, who all wanted a chance to get an autograph and pose for a photo.

Country musician Kelli Pickler and CNN host Anderson Cooper got the crowd excited with their entrance, along with members of the band REO Speedwagon.

500 Festival princesses and the 500 Festival queen helped welcome the celebrity guests, lining a portion of the red carpet.

Miss America, Teresa Scanlan, also made an appearance, taking the opportunity to mingle with the crowd and pose for a photo with this year’s 500 Festival queen.
