These guys: Jake, Stephen y Miranda are not bad in Spanish, I would give them an A- in language, and a D-- in filmmaking: the video is too long and very boring, it's very evident that this video was not made to be entertaining -- actually, I have no idea what its purpose could have been.
Although I know the video was not meant to be an art masterpiece, it's interesting to see the effort these students did in putting this "Spanish lesson" together, it's dry and humorless, and the video has a classroom presentation feel to it; which is probably what it is.
I must admit, these guys kept my attention throughout just to see if something funny might happen, and I didn't want to miss it. Don't bother, there isn't any. And no surprises other than a little intermission after the half way into the film where there is a little music and the still picture of Mr. Horowitz, who plays Anderson, on the screen -- he has a cigarette in his hand! Tsht, tsht, tsht, Anderson doesn't smoke, so he broke character.
The main value of this video for us, AnderFans, is the representation of the Silver Fox as a young, a bit over weight, long, brown haired guy who smokes. And, by the way, I have this strong suspicion that Anderson speaks Spanish the way Mr. Horowitz does -- I think.
