Trainer: "C'mon guys, lift those legs higher and higher. Let's show Anderson and Erica what you can do to win Beat 360°"
Trainer: "Guys you have to do better than this if you want to be one of the Rockets at Radio City Music Hall."
Front guy thinking: "This trainer is a... fine woman; but I can't reach any higher than this. Huuggh!"
Front guy thinking: "I hope Anderson appreciates this. I am doing it only for him so he will choose me for Beat 360°"
The folks at Queerty are probably right: Anderson is in the closet because CNN keeps him there. Just check what happened to this poor fellow from Miami; think of the horrors that happened to Thomas Roberts.
Anderson, as much as it hurts me to say this, but, please, stay in the closet -- until that time you think about quitting... And then, at that time, make a big deal out of it. Oh yes! Make a big sting about them keeping you in the obscurity of the hanging expensive, glittery gowns, five and six inch high pumps and fake fur stoles... Let them know the temptation was tooooo great, the solitude too sad and the silence too deafening to handle even by the strongest man.
That is.... if you are gay, if not... Never mind!
(As I said before, your secret, Anderson, is safe with me.)
Was Miami Anchor Charles Perez Fired For Being Too Gay?
Maybe the reason Anderson Cooper isn't so forthcoming with his sexuality is he fears a fate similar to Charles Perez, the Miami anchor for ABC affiliate WPLG claiming he was fired for being gay.
Perez was last seen pulling anchor duty on July 22, but his descent began months ago, according to a discrimination claim filed with Miami-Dade's Equal Opportunity Board, alleging WPLG bosses ousted him "because of their discomfort over the increasingly high profile of my sexual orientation."
Not helping things? Perez is in the middle of a domestic violence dispute with ex-boyfriend Dennis Ricardo Peña, who stands accused of leaking a private email between Perez and his therapist to his work colleagues. (Peña filed his own complaint against Perez, alleging Perez is the one responsible for the threats.)
On March 16, Perez alleges in court papers, Peña hacked into his personal e-mail, intercepting a "confidential and sensitive" e-mail and then forwarding it to "every single person" on Perez's e-mail address book. Among those who received the e-mail was Perez's attorney, Milstein. Perez says Peña had enough personal info to obtain his password.
Peña tells The Miami Herald: "I did not hack into his e-mail."
The e-mail in question was sent Feb. 20 to a family therapist in Los Angeles. Perez's petition says the e-mail could cause ''substantial harm" to his "professional and personal reputation."
Perez also says Peña sent him threatening text messages late last month.
Peña filed a 12-page motion to dismiss Perez's petition. The motion mentions Perez's co-anchor Laurie Jennings and her contract negotiations; details of the Perez-Peña sexual relationship; and Perez's relationship with a new partner, accountant Keith Rinehard. In the motion, Peña claims that Perez reached out to the therapist 'for counsel with his `gender identity issues.' "
It seems to coincide with his removal at the network.
The filing summary details Perez's quick descent at Channel 10, which began weeks after a March 3 performance review, when Perez says that WPLG News Director Bill Pohovey told him he was "too anchor-like and too ‘Brian Williams' in my delivery."
On March 16, a private e-mail from Perez written to a family therapist was forwarded to everyone in the reporter's online address book. The e-mail said Perez told the therapist he needed to work through his "gender identity issues."
Three days later, Pohovey called Perez into his office for a "new" performance review, this time saying that Perez came across "too soft," didn't sound "main anchor-like" and smiled too much with co-anchor Laurie Jennings. "Like girlfriends."
On April 3, Perez went to court seeking a restraining order against his former partner, Dennis Ricardo Peña, whom he accused of leaking the private e-mail.
Later that month, Perez claims he "began to disappear" from station promotional spots. He lost the weeknight anchor seat July 22.
Program Note:Tonight, filmmaker John Waters joins us on AC360º at 10 P.M. ET to discuss his friendship with Leslie Van Houten, a former member of the Manson’s Family for our week-long special on the Manson murders. Below are excerpts from his book Crackpot.
I’m sick of celebrities. You know who I mean. I can’t even bear to say their names out loud. Read my lips: the one who shaved her armpits and got married under a helicopter attack. Or the one who appeared nude in playgirl magazine and didn’t cause a stink because he was a man and had the biggest screen hit of the year. Or the singer with the fright wig and the comeback, who was much more fun in the old days when she had a mustache and processed hair, wore ratty fur coats, and sang “Don’t Play Me Cheap.” Or the other old one who was a hunk manager-husband and wants more money to continue on that nighttime soap opera. Or even the little guy –the one with ants in his pants and too many bodyguards who insulted Liz Taylor. The list goes on and on. You know who they are – overexposed, almost generic faces who have become as predictable as winter’s first set of chapped lips.
There’s just not enough celebrities to go around. After they’ve made it to the top, we all know it’s downhill from then on. Why bother rooting for them any longer? Look what happened to poor Michael Jackson – no self-respecting thirteen year old would be caught dead wearing one glove these days. Once you’ve become hard news (especially if you make the cover of Time or Newsweek), who cares? You’re no longer delightful to anyone. We must be creative and make up our own celebrities, elevating the obscurely fabulous and turning them into household words in our communities.
Page 162
If you just pay attention to your own backyard, you’d realize that scandal is everywhere. If one of your parents is an alcoholic – well, isn’t that as exciting as reading about Liza Minnelli? Start spreading the news to all your friends and watch your profile rise in the neighborhood. Is your thirteen year-old sister an unwed mother? Cheer up, so is Farrah Fawcett, and she doesn’t care. Hang a sign on the front of your house posting the number of days left until the birth and update it daily. You watch – people who barely spoke to you before will be falling all over themselves to take her to the hospital.
Nobody has a boring life when you get down to it. Isnt’ your own existence much more interesting than anyone else’s? look in the mirror and see yourself in a whole different light. It will all happen to you eventually: divorce, complicated operations, addictions of one sort or another, even death. It’s lonely at the bottom as well as the top. You’re a big celebrity, and you never even realized it. Go tell somebody. Quickly.

(CNN) -- Two U.S. journalists who had been detained by North Korea were traveling back to the United States with former President Clinton, Clinton's spokesman said.
North Korean President Kim Jong Il earlier had pardoned and ordered the release of Laura Ling and Euna Lee, state-run news agency KCNA said Wednesday.
The two women "are en route to Los Angeles, [California]where Laura and Euna will be reunited with their families," Clinton spokesman Matt McKenna said.
The announcement came after Clinton met with top North Korean officials in Pyongyang to appeal for the release of journalists, who had been arrested in March while reporting from the border between North Korea and China.
"Clinton expressed words of sincere apology to Kim Jong Il for the hostile acts committed by the two American journalists against the DPRK after illegally intruding into it," the news agency reported. "Clinton courteously conveyed to Kim Jong Il an earnest request of the U.S. government to leniently pardon them and send them back home from a humanitarian point of view.
"The meetings had candid and in-depth discussions on the pending issues between the DPRK and the U.S. in a sincere atmosphere and reached a consensus of views on seeking a negotiated settlement of them."
The report said Clinton then conveyed a message from President Obama "expressing profound thanks for this and reflecting views on ways of improving the relations between the two countries."
But White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters in Washington before the announced agreement that Clinton was not carrying any message -- written or oral -- from Obama.
Gibbs added that the former president last spoke with Obama during a White House visit in March. He described Clinton's trip as a "solely private mission to secure the release of two Americans."
"The DPRK visit of Clinton and his party will contribute to deepening the understanding between the DPRK and the U.S. and building the bilateral confidence."
Ling and Lee are reporters for California-based Current TV -- a media venture launched by Clinton's former vice president, Al Gore.
A statement from their families was posted Tuesday on the Web site lauraandeuna.com:
The families of the reporters thanked Gore and Clinton and said they felt "overjoyed" upon hearing of the upcoming release of Ling and Lee.
"We are counting the seconds to hold Laura and Euna in our arms," they said.
In Los Angeles, family friend Wally Yang said the Ling family had "done everything they could, while respecting the North Korean government, to try and get Laura home."
He predicted that Ling would remain a journalist. "Despite this terrifying experience, I can't imagine that Laura would give up her passion to tell stories that otherwise wouldn't be heard."
The two reporters were sentenced in June to 12 years in prison on charges of entering the country illegally to conduct a smear campaign. Because the United States has no diplomatic relations with North Korea, efforts to resolve the issue had been handled through Sweden, which represents U.S. interests in North Korea.
The visit by the former president, whose wife, Hillary Clinton, is the Obama administration's secretary of state, came about three weeks after the United States dropped a request that Ling and Lee be released on humanitarian grounds. Instead, the United States was seeking amnesty for the women, Hillary Clinton said. Watch what may lie behind the pick of Bill Clinton »
A plea for amnesty implies forgiveness for some offense, which could have given North Korea the chance to release the women without feeling that its legal system had been slighted, according to analyst Mike Chinoy, an Edgerton senior fellow on Asia at the Pacific Council on International Policy in Los Angeles, California.
Before the release, Chinoy said, "I suspect that it was made pretty clear in advance that Bill Clinton would be able to return with these two women, otherwise it would be a terrible loss of face for him."
Clinton's mission came as the United States and its allies in the region are seeking to push North Korea back into stalled nuclear disarmament talks. North Korea conducted a nuclear bomb test, its second, in May, and has conducted several missile tests since then. The United Nations responded to those tests by tightening and expanding sanctions on the nation.
North Korea and the United States were on opposite sides in the 1950-1953 Korean War and had no regular contacts before a 1994 crisis over North Korea's nuclear program. North Korea agreed at that time to halt the development of nuclear weapons, but abandoned that accord and withdrew from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in 2003.
Clinton had considered visiting North Korea in 2000, near the end of his second term as president. His secretary of state, Madeleine Albright, went to Pyongyang in early 2000 to meet with Kim.
The 67-year-old North Korean leader was widely reported to have suffered a stroke a year ago and is believed to be grooming his youngest son, Kim Jon Un, as his successor.
The video is from June 16, 2009, but the news are still pertinent today. I have great hope for the Iranian opposition to continue their struggle and WIN the freedom they deserve.
I only wish the United Nations and The United States could do more to help the Iranians. I feel everybody is tied and can't say much because Ayatollah Khamenei and Ahmadinejad, you know, dumb and dumber, can take anything said by the Obama administration and start a fight -- which we all know that due to Bush's war in Iraq and his unfinished war in Afghanistan, we cannot get into a third conflict in the Middle East.
So, Iranian opposition, I assure you that all the American people (except for some republicans) support you on your efforts to be free.
Hang in there, brave people, protest silently or not, send us pictures, send us video, send us messages so that we get informed of your progress. Some, many, casualties will happen, but in the end the majority of Iranians will receive the benefits of FREEDOM!

You shall worship your Cathedral's Shepherd with all your attention, all your intention, all your direction and all the 'tions' you can find appropriated; but most of all you shall worship your Cathedral's Divine Shepherd will every, and when I say every, I mean Every! part of your body... Your soul is iffy, it may be preoccupied with other mundane matters, let it be as is.
Here are a few idols who have faithfully engaged themselves to the adoration of the right Shepherd -- according to Peter 25, 6-9,

Jesse Metcalfe, TV actor, I don't know what he's been playing in lately, but this handsome guy is playing something on TV, and he obviously worships Anderson.
Ben Affleck, you know Ben, the flirtatious, just ask Matt Damon, actor in "Armageddon," "Good Will Hunting," "Pearl Harbor," etc., and a great devotee of Anderson and his charities.
Ryan Daharsh, one of two of the most amazingly sexy models of our time -- secretly he envies Anderson's good looks and fame.
Rusty Joiner, one of two of the most amazingly sexy models of our time -- secretly he is in love with Anderson, but then, isn't everybody?
Anderson had nothing to do with this video, but I am sure he was having quite one of his hilarious laughs watching Bill talk about the stupid "birthers." So, just think Anderson is sitting next to you laughing his head off and Enjoy!
