Twitter users aren’t wasting anytime in creating all sorts of Anderson Cooper/Tom Cruise jokes. With Anderson Cooper announcing he is gay and Katie Holmes filing for divorce from Tom Cruise, the jokes are all over Twitter. Rumors have circulated for years about Tom Cruise’s sexuality and Twitter users are adding fuel to the rumor fire.

“Did Anderson Cooper come out just to let Tom Cruise know he has options now that he’s divorcing?” Brad Wollack tweeted on July 2.

“So does this mean Tom Cruise is now available to date Anderson Cooper?” Black Canseco tweeted.

“Anderson Cooper comes out of the closet. Tom Cruise comes out of marriage. Coincidence? Yeah, probably,” tweeted Steve Schneider on July.

“Yes Anderson Cooper, we’re all excited Tom Cruise is single,” Rob Fee tweeted.

Frank J. Fleming tweeted, “I guess Anderson Cooper was waiting to come out until Tom Cruise was single.”

“So Tom Cruise becomes single and Anderson Cooper manages to wait an entire weekend before coming out? Will power, baby!” Lee Farber tweeted on July 2.

Although there is no question about Anderson Cooper’s sexuality, seeing he announced he is gay, there are still questions about Tom Cruise’s sexuality. No matter what the truth may be, Twitter users are jumping to their own conclusions and having a little fun in the process.
