It wasn't sex that brought men to accused Soccer Mom Madam Anna Gristina, it was “discretion,” her 24-year-old daughter insisted in her first interview about the charges against her mom.
Gristina, who was busted in February by the Manhattan district attorney’s office on accusations she operated a $10 million prostitution ring on the upper East Side, has been sitting in a Rikers Island cell since then on $2 million bond.
In an tearful interview to be aired Thursday on Anderson Cooper’s syndicated talk show, her daughter from a previous marriage, Suzanna Pak, insisted Gristina was only running a legitimate dating service.
“Obviously, these men were looking for discretion, and that’s why they paid so much money to find somebody to talk to, to take out to dinner,” Pak said with a straight face. “To make sure . . . whatever the case may be.”
If her mother was running a brothel, Pak claims, she would have known.
“She’s my mom. No matter what I am going to be there for her, but like I said I don’t agree with it. I don’t believe what the police are saying about her,” Pak — who had cropped hair and was wearing a blue blazer — said in front of a studio audience.
“I am 24 years old. I think if she had anything to hide, she would have said something to me by now. She shared with me her dating sites, her legitimate dating sites here and there.”
