Pit Bulls Are Pure Love

Lilly the pit bull is being hailed as a hero after pulling her owner out of the path of a freight train. WCVB reports.

A Personal Story:

Pit Bulls Are Pure Love, I know that personally. Alan & I had this beautiful pit bull girl named Meli (from the Hawaiian word for Honey, she was honey brown and was pure honey herself), she always knew when I was in trouble, I didn't have to say anithing but she knew and would come to my side to check on me. Alan knew when I was stressed out because Meli would come to my side and looked at me as if saying "don't worry, I'm here by your side." She was amazing recognizing my state of mind.

Unfortunately she passed away on February 12, this year -- she got a tumor in her tummy and it was cancerous, she died here at home. We love her and miss her terribly.
