Anderson Cooper Debunks Obama, Anderson Cooper Hair Myths (VIDEO)

Anderson Cooper debunked some new theories popping up about a supposedly new scar on President Obama's head--and used the opportunity to put some myths about his own hair to rest.

Speaking on his Monday show, Cooper addressed a new knot of theories that has popped up following some recently released pictures of the back of Obama's head. They show a kind of line running through his scalp, and speculation immediately sprang up that Obama may have had brain surgery.

Cooper was, to say the least, skeptical. "Don't you just love online political discourse?" he said. "Makes you rethink the whole high-speed Internet access, doesn't it?" He compared the theory to those of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.

Cooper also discussed his own hair. Apparently people have speculated that his famous white locks are actually a toupee of some kind.

"What you see are lines I get because I won't pay more than 16 bucks for a haircut," he said. "I have an excellent barber named Isaac, but when my hair grows out, it grows out weirdly. What can I say?"
