"Pink Pony", the online charity auction by American designer Ralph Lauren has been gaining a lot of attention in the last couple of days. With a long list of unusual yet alluring items for sale, the auction is likely to raise a large sum of money. All proceeds from the auction will be used to fund the fight against cancer.
Two items that stands out distinctively out of the entire collection are a tour of Ralph Lauren's car collection and a weekend at Ralph Lauren's Round Hill villa in Jamaica. Both estimated at $ 150,000, these two lots have been garnering quite some attention from bidders as well as media personnel alike.
Described as Lauren's 'personal Jamaican paradise', the villa stands on a picturesque location over the Caribbean Sea with its own private beach access. The winning bidder will get the opportunity to spend four days and three nights at this luxurious place.
Equally attractive is the tour of Lauren's car collection comprising of vintage Ferraris, Porches and a 1936 Bugatti Atlantic. Here, the winner not only gets a private tour of the collection by Ralph Lauren himself but also gets a signed copy of "Speed, Style, and Beauty: Cars from the Ralph Lauren Collection."
