2009 - 2010
I wonder who takes care of baby New Year during his first three months as a baby...
There must be a lot to clean up before he learns to take care of himself, huh?

New Year's revelers have a blast
December 31, 2009 -- 3:47 p.m. EST
The New Year got under way with fireworks shot from the Sky Tower as revelers partied in Auckland, New Zealand. Similar celebrations were moving like a wave from east to west as midnight struck across the globe.
Full Long Night Moon
Blue Moon Will Usher in 2010

New Year's Eve comes just once a year, but even more rare is a New Year's Eve blue moon.
The year will close out with a full moon -- but making it more special is the fact that this is the second full moon to show up in the month of December, the official NASA definition for a "blue moon." According to the government's space agency, a blue moon occurs once every two and a half years; the last was in June 2007.
The first full moon of December showed up on Dec. 2, and on Thursday night -- New Year's Eve -- the second will make its appearance, at 2:13 p.m. EST. According to the folks at Space.com, it has been named the "full long night moon."
Full moons happen monthly, and they're loaded with wives tales themselves, everything from a belief that a full moon forces women to go into labor to rumors of widespread criminal behavior. These myths have been largely debunked, but scientists have given credulity to the notion that a full moon can increase seizures.
Police may have scoffed at the idea that this will be a creepier New Year's Eve than any in the past, but if we hear somebody baying, we're headed for cover. Are you with us?
It's Already 2010 in Australia!
And what a fantastic display of fireworks!

2008 Year In Review...
2008?!! Whatever happened to 2009? Or to the '00 decade for that matter?
And then the folks at CNN call the video: "Decade in review: 2008"!!!? Don't they know that 2008 is a Year not a Decade!? What were they thinking?
They were probably celebrating last night since tonight they will be totally hungover... errr... at work...
But we love them all nonetheless, don't we? They do a great work always... hangover or not!

When It Rains...
... I can't keep up with this invaluable (and repetitive) information... Everybody is talking about the infamous New Year’s Eve duo of Times Square, Anderson and Kathy; Lance in Las Vegas and Ryan Seacrest in Times Square too, on the side! It's going to be the Oh! so gayest evening ever on TV.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2010 (ABC)
Dick Clark, Ryan Seacrest and Melissa Rycroft will host the special from New York’s Times Square while Fergie will chime in from Las Vegas. New Year’s Eve Live With Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin (CNN)
CNN will bring back to Times Square their infamous New Year’s Eve duo, serious anchorman Anderson Cooper and the inappropriate-yet-hilarious Kathy Griffin, to ring in 2010. But joining them this year will be Lance Bass, who will report from Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. What will they think of next?

TV: Think Your Family Is Crazy?
Cody Daigle
You can’t be out of the house every night of the week soaking in the entertainment that Acadiana [it's a Lafayette, Louisiana thing] has to offer. So we’ve decided to devote some space to the tube — what you’re watching, what you’re talking about and what you can’t get enough of on television.
Guilty pleasure
New Year’s Eve with Anderson Cooper
CNN Thursday
Yeah, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is a staple, but even die-hard traditions can wear out their welcome.
This year, we’re getting our New Year’s Eve coverage where it’ll count: CNN.
The network’s hunky-serious anchor Anderson Cooper is once again guiding us to midnight, and this year he’s sharing hosting duties with Kathy Griffin, who infamously made CNN censors turn purple.
The pair will be joined by ex-N*Sync-er Lance Bass via satellite in Vegas (he’ll be covering the shenanigans on the West Coast). And a hanfdul of other CNNers will round out the coverage.
Cooper is, despite his “serious journalist” schtick, a really funny guy. And with Griffin on board, anything could happen.
And let’s do the math: Cooper, Griffin, Bass. Are we still wondering whether ol’ Anderson is gay?

Gayest New Year's Eve
Anderson Cooper, Lance Bass, and Kathy Griffin to Host Gayest New Year's Eve Ever
CNN Exec.1: Since our usual audience of crotchety senior citizens will be asleep, how will we attract viewers for the NYE countdown?
CNN Exec.2: I know, let's get Anderson to call some of his cool gay friends, for a party.
And so it was decided that Kathy Griffin and Lance Bass would co-host Anderson Cooper's New Year's Eve broadcast on CNN. Anderson and his fag hag o' the day will be on the scene when the giant crystalline testicle of New York descends into the warm scrotum that is Times Square. Meanwhile, The Boy Bander Who Was Actually Gay and Went on Dancing With the Stars to Prove It, Lance Bass, will provide dispatches from Planet Hollywood Las Vegas. Who needs a Christmas miracle when you've got this juggernaut for NYE?

How to...
... including ones with gays in Las Vegas and gay-alike (or guys who like) guys in New York
New Year's Eve can easily lapse into a night full of stress. Don't let it. What you need is a plan, which you should strike up with much consideration and then stick to, no matter the circumstances. There's no reason to be flexible or accommodating. There's no reason to acquiesce. It's your year, after all. Herewith, "Thoroughly Anderson Cooper" presents 10 worthwhile action plans for a night worth planning in advance.
1. Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass to ring in 2010 on CNN
If you're staying in on New Year's Eve this year, Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin will offer the gayest countdown over on CNN. They've even got Lance Bass live in Las Vegas, and it doesn't get much gayer than that!
Last year, Kathy referred to the dick in one heckler's mouth; and there's always a fun drinking game involved.
Plus, you never go wrong with Kathy Griffin; and Anderson Cooper is never bad to look at either!!
Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin's CNN special airs 11pm to 12:30am (ET, of course). If you're going to be out partying with the Gay Socialites that night, then we suggest you set your DVR!
2. to 10. Read the above announcement nine more times.

Where Is Anderson?
I guess we won't know until 10 PM tonight, New York time.
No, what I mean is Where is Anderson in the somewhat good looking mess below? This beautiful mess below was captured on Flickr by About Gamma Infinity / Hugh, a.k.a. Hugh, I guess.
If you can't find him here, try clicking on the picture to enlarge it and see if you have better luck that way. If everything could be made easier by enlarging it...
The big tits hunk on the left doesn't count, he is to obvious to count as hidden. But he's amazing, eh?

Amber Fort in Jaipur
from Tim and Lara Compton blog about their travels around the world. They happened to be in Jaipur, India at the same time as Anderson & Benjamin were there too. Lucky couple!
Monday, November 16, 2009
We arrived in Jaipur in the early evening. In our first morning in Jaipur we went to the Amber Fort and Palace. The fort is on the top of hill and the only way to get to the top of the hill is to take an elephant! Taking an elephant in Amber Fort is like taking a taxi anywhere else, you just hop on and your driver takes you to where you want to go. The elephant ride was very cool. Once we got to the fort we toured around. This fort was slightly different from the other forts in that it had Anderson Cooper in it. Yes, Anderson Cooper, host of CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, was walking around the Amber Fort just like us. Although Lara was the one who spotted Anderson, our friend Colleen snagged the best photo of him completely by accident. She was trying to take a picture of some sexually explicit tiles that are in the Amber Fort when some guy came out the door and got in her picture, she later noticed that that guy was Anderson Cooper. For you celebrity buffs, Anderson was travelling with one other guy, which we have a picture of [but wasn't posted]. We were waiting for them to hold to hands so we could sell that picture to TMZ. Anderson Cooper won't say he's gay, but he's ranked as the second most powerful gay man in America by Out magazine.
Sexually explicit detail from photo above.
Anderson Cooper - Closeted TV news anchor travelling with his 'friend'. Cameo appearance at the Amber Fort in Jaipur and had a brief conversation with Lara (Lara: "Are you Anderson Cooper?!?!", Anderson: "Yes, I am", Lara: inaudible giggling)
Thanks to cute Tim and Lara for these wonderful pictures of Anderson and Amber Fort.
