Anderson Cooper Surprises Santa Claus

2011 has been the year of news anchors interviewing fictional characters (see here, and here, and here), and on Friday, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper joined the club when he interviewed Santa Claus. Admittedly, it wasn’t really Santa, it was a very convincing Atlanta resident named David Hirt.


“What does it mean to you to be Santa?” Cooper asks Santa–er–Hirt, before surprising him with gifts for his generosity.
