Anderson Cooper Gets Harsh Reviews
Anderson Cooper took the opportunity to debut a new look today on the “Live! with Regis and Kelly” show. The look did not seem to go over too well.
Cooper took with him two pairs of glasses in order to see which pair he should sport. Well, he did not get great reviews on either pair from the audience or from Kelly Ripa, host of “Live! with Regis and Kelly.” Ripa even told him to take the glasses off.
Ripa said of the glasses, “They’re not too big, they’re just wrong.”
She did tell him that she would go with him to help him pick some out that would better suit his face. She said that she felt the ones that he tried on for the audience were way too small for his face.
Cooper announced to the audience that this is the first time in his life that he has owned a pair of glasses. Unfortunately he did not pick out a good pair to suit his face.
Today’s “Live! with Regis and Kelly” show was pre-taped due to the fact that Cooper was filming his CNN show live from the Gulf Coast last night in an effort to bring light to the tragedy happening in the Gulf of Mexico. Anderson is known for his humanitarian acts such as the one in Haiti when he rescued a small boy from being bullied.
Cooper is host of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees” and often fills in on “Live! with Regis and Kelly” when co-host Regis Philbin is out.
