Thursday's Must

Thursday, December 11, at 9 p.m. ET

"Planet in Peril: Battle Lines" in HDTV on Thursday, December 11, at 9 p.m. ET on CNN,
hosted by Anderson Cooper, chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta
and "The Oprah Winfrey Show" correspondent and National Geographic host Lisa Ling.

CNN’s award-winning Planet in Peril returns this year to examine
the conflict between growing populations and natural resources.
Anderson Cooper, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and Lisa Ling travel to
the front lines of this worldwide battle.

He may be afraid of frogs, but when it comes to sharks,
they are, in his own words, "cool."

Peter's NOTE: Be WARNED. For what I've seen so far it seems that this "Planet in Peril" is a rather bleak view of the world as it is right now; the bad things the people do to the wild animals of the planet; and the waste of resources so precariously scarce for our survival. I only wish there will be some hopeful notes to accompany the dread. Either way, I don't expect an entertaining program, but one that will most probably make you cringe and think about what's been done to planet Earth and, probably, about what you can do about it.
Hold on to your seats folks, this, most definitely, will be a bumpy ride...
